Cello bow by William Salchow (1977), 86 gr, balance 9 1/2", stamped 'SALCHOW NY' on thumb-side of stick near grip, warm brown pernambuco, octagon stick with Salchow's distinctive hatchet head, silver and black thread winding, moroccan goatskin grip, plain ebony frog with silver mountings, ebony button with two silver rings, some wear on handle, wing cracks on ivory faceplate.

Viola bow 71 gr, balance 9 7/8", made by Charles I. Linke, a violist in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for 25 years and an amateur Bow Maker, perhaps in the 1960's, orange-brown pernambuco, octagonal stick, nickel-silver tip and frog mountings, frog has rounded back corner, plain MOP eyes, button nickel-silver cap.
